Neges Nadolig / Christmas Message

A hithau wedi bod yn dymor tu hwnt o brysur a llwyddiannus, hoffwn adrodd ar rai digwyddiadau na chafwyd cyfle i adrodd arnynt yn ddiweddar. Mae pob dosbarth wedi bod yn hynod o brysur yn paratoi tuag at y Sioe Nadolig diweddar, ac fe hoffwn ddiolch o galon i’r plant am eu gwaith caled, ac i’r holl staff am eu paratoi. Diolch hefyd i chwi, y rhieni am eich gwaith a’ch cefnogaeth tuag at lwyddiant y Sioe. Edrychwn ymlaen at gael sioeau tebyg eto yn y dyfodol agos!

What a busy term it’s been with the children busy preparing for the Christmas show. I would like to congratulate the children once more on their excellent performance, and to thank the staff for their hard work with the singing and acting—well done! I wish to thank the parents for their support towards the show and for helping us ensure success! We look forward to preparing for another show in the near future!

Un o’r pethau sydd wedi fy nghalonogi yn fawr y tymor hwn yw cefnogaeth gref y pentrefwyr i holl weithgareddau’r ysgol. Edrychaf ymlaen yn fawr at gael trefnu rhagor o weithgareddau ar y cyd â’r pentref yn ystod y misoedd nesaf.

I wish to thank the villagers for the support shown towards our recent concerts and events. I look forward to arranging similar events in the school during the Spring Term.

Swper Diolchgarwch / Harvest Supper

Diolch i bawb am gefnogi'r noson arbennig yma, a gafodd ei threfnu gan Mrs. Maureen Jones, y Gogyddes. Cafwyd datganiadau cerddorol gan Mr. Corps, Gavin Saynor, Mrs. Ann Marston, Sioned a Bob. Diolch iddynt am eu gwaith ardderchog. Yn ystod y noson cyhoeddwyd fod dros £3000 wedi ei gasglu tuag at y prosiect o greu ystafell astudio gymunedol o fewn yr ysgol. Da iawn pawb!

I wish to thank the local community for supporting the Harvest Supper arranged by the Cook, Mrs. Maureen Jones. During the evening, the guests were entertained by Mr. Corps, Mr. Gavin Saynor, Mrs. Ann Marston, Sioned and Bob. It was announced during the evening that over £3000 had been raised towards school funds - well done everyone!

Diwrnod Ewropeaidd / European Day of Languages

Wel, am gyffro! Pawb yn yr ysgol yn cymryd rhan yn niwrnod Ieithoedd Ewrop ar ddydd Gwener, Medi 25ain. Diolch i Miss. Dawn Hughes am drefnu. Fe gafwyd gweithgareddau amrywiol ym mhob dosbarth, gyda astudiaethau o wahanol wledydd, dysgu ieithoedd a phrofi ychydig o fwyd a diwylliant y gwledydd. Bydd yr ysgol yn awr yn datblygu ei chysylltiadau a Ffrainc, gan yrru Miss. Hughes ar daith i ymweld ag ysgolion draw yn ardal Bordeaux.

What a wonderful day we all had on September 25th to celebrate the European Languages Day. We all had fun studying the languages, foods and traditions. We'd like to thank Miss. Hughes for arranging the day for us. Miss Hughes will be visiting schools in Bordeaux soon..watch this space!

Ffair Mechell

Roedd yn bleser o'r mwyaf gennyf gael bod yn bresennol i Ffair Mechell 2009. Bu'n ddiwrnod ardderchog; yr haul yn gwenu a phawb yn mwynhau. Diolch i Menter Mechell am y gwahoddiad.

It was a great honour to be invited to the annual Mechell Fair for 2009. Thank you to Menter Mechell for all their hard work.

Dathliadau'r Pasg 2009 Easter Celebrations

Wel am ddiwrnod cyffrous a gawsom yn yr ysgol heddiw! Y tywydd yn braf, pawb wedi gweithio'n galed ar hyd y tymor diwethaf ac yn barod am wyliau! Cafwyd diwrnod o ddathlu'r 1960au yn yr Adran Iau, ac fe fu pawb yn gwisgo (gan gynnwys y staff) yn nillad a steil y cyfnod! Diolch i bawb am eu cefnogaeth. Gwnaethpwyd elw o £57 gan y Cyngor Ysgol. Diolch hefyd i Anti Maureen a'i chriw am y cinio Pasg hyfryd! Yn y llun fe welir dosbarth Mr. Corps yn dathlu'r chwedegau mewn steil! Diolch i Eurwyn am y disgo ardderchog!
What a wonderful, happy end to the Spring Term with a wide range of activities in each classroom. The main event of the day was KS2's celebration of their theme, the 1960's. Thank you to the school council for arranging the event, and to all the pupils (and staff!) for wearing clothes in the style of the 1960's. Thank you Eurwyn for the wonderful disco!

PC Brian Jones

Rydym bob amser yn falch o groesawu ein cyfaill, PC Brian Jones i weithio gyda'r dosbarthiadau. Mae'r disgyblion wrth eu boddau yn trafod gyda PC Jones ac yn cael cyfle i rannu teimladau a phrofiadau. Diolch i chwi am eich gwaith caled efo'r plant.
It is always a pleasure to welcome PC Brian Jones to the school to introduce different workshops on a wide range of subjects. The children enjoy sharing their thoughts and experiences during the workshops.

Helfa Pasg / Easter Egg Hunt

Roeddem yn falch iawn o gael croesawu yr Uwch Ymgynghorydd Cynradd, Mr. Phil Mostert, atom heddiw. Bu Mr. Mostert yn ymweld a'r dosbarthiadau ac yn cael trafod gweithgareddau'r prynhawn gyda'r plant. Diolch am eich cymorth!
We welcomed Mr. Phil Mostert, Senior Primary Adviser, to the school today. Mr. Mostert visited lessons and discussed activities with the staff and pupils. Thank you for your guidance.

Gardd Ysgol / School Garden

Rydym yn falch iawn o gael cyhoeddi y bydd hadau yn cael eu plannu yfory er mwyn i ni allu harddu gerddi'r ysgol. Os oes gan unrhyw un blanhigion neu hadau yr hoffent eu rhoddi i'r ysgol, buasem yn falch iawn o glywed gennych!

Ymweliad John Huw Davies Visit

Roeddem yn hynod ffodus heddiw o gael croesawu Mr. John Huw Davies i'r ysgol i roddi sesiwn hyfforddiant lleisiol i'r disgyblion hynaf. Diolch yn fawr am ddod atom am y prynhawn.
We were very fortunate to welcome Mr. John Huw Davies to the school today. Mr. Davies gave a vocal training workshop for the older children.

Cymdeithas Rhieni ac Athrawon / PTA

Rwy'n falch iawn o nodi bod Mrs. Morfydd Rowlands yn brysur iawn ar ran y Gymdeithas yn trefnu gweithgareddau Pasg. Cysylltwch a Morfydd os ydych yn awyddus i fod yn rhan o'r gwaith.
I'm pleased to report that Mrs. Morfydd Rowlands is busy working on behalf of the PTA. Please contact Morfydd if you would like to help the school arrange the various activities.

Tiroedd yr ysgol / School Grounds

Y mae'n fwriad gennym yn awr, a hithau'n Wanwyn, i ddatblygu rhagor ar diroedd yr ysgol. Os oes gennych ddiddordeb mewn garddio neu waith Celf a Chrefft, yna dewch am sgwrs. Rydym angen datblygu ein gardd ysgol ac ail-beintio'r wal Gelf!!! Edrychaf ymlaen at gael clywed gennych yn fuan.
It is our intention to develop the school grounds for the children to enjoy. If you have an interest in gardening or art, then please contact us! We need to develop the school garden and improve the painted wall on the school yard. I look forward to hearing from you!

Neges i ddosbarth Mrs. Roberts / Message for Mrs. Roberts' Class

Oherwydd salwch, ni fydd Mrs. Roberts ar gael i gynnal noson rieni ar gyfer ei dosbarth hi nos Fawrth. Byddwn yn cysylltu a chwi yn fuan i ail-drefnu.
Due to illness Mrs. Roberts will not be available for her parents eveining on Tuesday. A letter will be sent out as soon as possible to re-arrange.

Diwrnod Trwyn Coch / Red Nose Day

Er na fyddaf yn yr ysgol i fwynhau'r dathliadau yfory (Gan fy mod ar hyfforddiant cyfrifiaduron), dymunaf yn dda iawn i'r disgyblion a'r staff wrth iddynt wisgo yn wirion!!! Edrychaf ymlaen at gael gweld y lluniau.
Due to IT Training, I will be missing all the Red Nose Day activities. I wish the children and staff all the best with the events that they have planned. I'm looking forward to see all the photographs when I return on Monday!!!

Diolch i bawb a gefnogodd y noson wych yma. Roedd hi'n braf iawn gweld cymaint o bentrefwyr wedi dod draw atom i fwynhau. Gobeithio y gallwn ddenu rhagor o rieni a phlant i gefnogi y tro nesaf. Gwnaed elw o £170 wedi i ni dalu costau'r noson. Diolch arbennig i Anti Maureen a phawb a helpodd gyda'r Lobsgows gwych!

Thank you to all the friends that supported the concert. I hope that we can persuade more parents and children to support similar events in the future. I wish to thank Anti Maureen and all who helped to serve the wonderful Lobsgows! A profit of £170 was made during the evening.

Eisteddfod yr Urdd

Rwy'n falch iawn, iawn o lwyddiant yr ysgol yn yr Eisteddfod, a gynhaliwyd nos wener yn Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones, Amlwch. Edrychwn ymlaen yn fawr at yr Eisteddfod Sir; pob lwc i bawb.
I was very pleased with the results that the children obtained at the Eisteddfod on Friday. All the best at the next round of the Eisteddfod.
